A beautifully toned hemiobol from Athens

ATTICA. Athens. Circa 454-404 BC. Hemiobol (Silver, 8 mm, 0.36 g, 1 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with three olive leaves and palmette. Rev. AΘE Owl standing right, head facing; to left, olive sprig and crescent; all within incuse square. Kroll 14. Svoronos pl. 17, 49-52. HGC 4, 1681. Beautifully toned and unusually attractive, with a full crest. Two flan cracks, otherwise, about extremely fine.
